Gingrich Buys Tea Party Support In South Carolina

Gingrich's Tea Party Supporters: Accusations of Paid Endorsements Untrue - Fox News

By Travinyle1

It was alarming when we first learned tea party groups in South Carolina were somehow supporting a globalist like Newt Gingrich, now we find out why. Paid off......

"There's a lot of Tea Party leaders in South Carolina that were getting offered positions with the Gingrich campaign," Alice Stewart, Bachmann's national spokesperson explained when asked for further clarification. "They were getting paid good amounts of money, and then shortly thereafter, Gingrich would get the Tea Party endorsement.

The Myrtle Beach Tea Party voted to endorse Newt Gingrich Dec. 12. Gerri McDaniel, the Myrtle Beach Tea Party leader who joined the Gingrich staff as a regional organizer early November told Fox News, "We have worked so hard to do the right thing, to take responsibility for the shape of our country. What Wesley Donohue is doing is discrediting the Tea Party movement for his candidate

Wesley Donohue made the accusation against Gingrich last month in an interview with the Columbia Free-Times:
Bachmann is trying to grow an organic base of supporters, and Newt Gingrich is trying to buy off tea party groups. … Newt Gingrich knows the only way he can get the tea party vote is to buy it.
"This man is a progressive," Beck said. "So if you've got a big government progressive ... in Obama -- one in Newt Gingrich, one in Obama -- ask yourself this, Tea Party. Is it about Obama's race?"
Judge Andrew Napolitano, host of the FBN show, questioned Beck on the argument.
"It must be about race," Beck responded. "I mean, what else is it? ... It's the policies that matter."

White House quiet, Obama wont veto Defense Authorization Bill

White House quiet on threat to veto defense authorization bill - TheHill.com
Levin, who spoke with President Obama last week about the bill, said he had not received assurances the president would sign the bill with the changes. But he said Monday that he could “not imagine” a veto was coming.

The White House isn’t saying whether it will follow through on a threat to veto the defense authorization bill because of a provision regarding the detention of terror suspects.

White House officials declined to comment Tuesday on the conference committee report, which was released Monday evening, saying they were still reviewing the bill. The conference committee made concessions on the detainees issue in the final bill, in hope of neutralizing the veto threat.

Big Surprise Cheney calls for air strike on Iran over captured drone

Cheney calls for air strike on Iran over captured drone | The Raw Story

Its no surprise warmonger Cheney yet again wants war with Iran.

This is coming from a guy who years ago wanted to create fake Iranian ships and stage a false flag on Iran. The story went mostly unreported.

Dick Cheney speaks to CNN about captured drone
Former Vice President Dick Cheney said on Monday that President Barack Obama should have ordered an “air strike” on Iran after they recently captured a U.S. drone.
Earlier on Monday, President Barack Obama had explained that U.S. officials asked Iran to return the RQ-170 Sentinel surveillance drone.
“The right response to that would have been to go in immediately after it had gone down and destroy it,” Cheney told CNN’s Erin Burnett. “You can do that from the air. You can do that with a quick air strike, and in effect make it impossible for them to benefit from having captured that drone.”

WASHINGTON — A federal judge Monday granted a government request to narrow a conspiracy charge in the Iran-Contra indictment against former National Security Adviser John M. Poindexter.
