I'm Unmoved by Boston

I'm completely unmoved by this event.   Patriot Day in Boston, the Boston Marathon, home of the Boston Tea Party, enthusiastic runners, 100's of thousands of people, out to celebrate our freedom, our wonderful country, the historic city of Boston on a glorious day...and on Tax Day of all days?  Then their day is ruined by the very country they love, fund, and support.  Then as a result and unbeknown to most they're about to lose even more of their remaining illusionary freedoms in the days/weeks/months/years to come, all of which is funded by the taxes they're paying to fund the interest on the debt used to fund it all.  Then some of their relatives will feel a sense of duty and sign up for the military as hired mercenaries, to be paid to take orders to perpetrate the same acts anywhere in the world, including on our own soil.  These relatives then carry a high risk to be maimed, killed, or psychologically ruined by their constructed devotion to their country and military service, in addition to any hideous results they've voluntarily left behind in their paths.  To top it off the odds of an incident like today's Boston Marathon bombing happening anywhere in the world only increase as a result of this cycle.

The only thing that surprises me is that one of these events doesn't happen daily on US soil.   Sadly I doubt even that would wake up the American masses.
