Tea Party’s Haley Endorses Republicrat Romney

The converted Tea Party is now demonstrating in full regalia that it unflinchingly bows to the establishment and will do whatever is required to get its groomed presidential candidates nominated and one of them elected so he can recite teleprompted scripts from the South Lawn and preside over Egg Rolling Contests.
Last night during the Faux News so-called debate, Michele Bachmann attempted to take Ron Paul to task for his insistence that Iran is none of our business. Paul told the former IRS employee the president does not have the authority under the Constitution to wage war against Iran, as it is now doing with junior partner Israel. Paul was obliged to instruct Bachmann on things you’d think she’d know as the Tea Party’s woman in the House. Bachmann, of course, is only a pretend leader of a castrated movement taken cynically under the wing of the establishment for the sake of color and fooling the easily fooled.
Now we have another so-called Tea Party diva coming out to back the Republicrat Mitt Romney.
“Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney picked up the endorsement of South Carolina’s Republican governor, Nikki Haley, on Friday in a move that could boost his fortunes in the early voting state,” Reuters reports.
“The election next November will have ramifications for generations,” Haley said in a statement released by the Romney campaign. “Neither South Carolina nor the nation can afford four more years of President (Barack) Obama, and Mitt Romney is the right person to take him on and get America back on track.”
Get America back on track? Romney is all for big government, raising taxes, and forcing subjects of the state to buy health care insurance at gunpoint. He is a Republican version of a Democrat. But then Republicans and Democrats are mostly interchangeable these days.
We had a foretaste of this scheduled betrayal when Tom Thompson, a prominent activist for the hijacked Tea Party in New Hampshire, declared his support for Romney.
Haley’s predictable betrayal of the Tea Party should sound the fire alarms. Some Tea Party supporters have taken to Twitter to denounce Haley’s sell-out, but it is too late – the Republican conversion of a once proud and defiant movement demanding a return to a constitutional republic is now complete. Undoubtedly many Tea Party (insert trademark) supporters will be happy just to wear paper hats and watch the confetti and balloons fall during the Republican convention in Tampa, Florida, next year.

Gingrich Buys Tea Party Support In South Carolina
The Myrtle Beach Tea Party voted to endorse Newt Gingrich Dec. 12. Gerri McDaniel, the Myrtle Beach Tea Party leader who joined the Gingrich staff as a regional organizer early November told Fox News, "We have worked so hard to do the right thing, to take responsibility for the shape of our country. What Wesley Donohue is doing is discrediting the Tea Party movement for his candidate
"This man is a progressive," Beck said. "So if you've got a big government progressive ... in Obama -- one in Newt Gingrich, one in Obama -- ask yourself this, Tea Party. Is it about Obama's race?"Bachmann is trying to grow an organic base of supporters, and Newt Gingrich is trying to buy off tea party groups. … Newt Gingrich knows the only way he can get the tea party vote is to buy it.
