R.I.P Tea Party 2007-2012

Michael Blackcrest
Conceived in 2007 as a reaction to George Bush's big spending and military adventurism, and birthed by Dr. Ron Paul and his 2007 Presidential campaign supporters, the Tea Party contracted a severe "establishmentitus" infection on April 15, 2008 when Fox News promoted its Tax Day protests. The infection progressed and the Tea Party was put on life support on August 1, 2011 with the passing of a $2.1T debt limit increase. Life support was removed on January 21, 2012 by South Carolina primary voters.
