South Carolina Town Bans Sign Wavers Claims They Are "3D Signs"

Sign wavers for local business's banned in a town which has record unemployment.
As of Dec. 2011 Georgetown County SC had unemployment at 10.4%

Another example of the government continuing to forcefully stomp out small business and jobs.

As far as the city of Georgetown is concerned, actors portraying Lady Liberty to advertise an income tax services violate the town's ban on three-dimensional signs.
City officials have told Liberty Tax Service it cannot use people dressed as Lady Liberty to advertise the business on city streets.


The company says it had to let eight employees go because of the ban.
