Hello,
I am the person who runs this blog and has a youtube channel and does a radio show. This is my attempt to write a daily more personal blog. I have attempted something similar with videos on youtube and failed. The intent is partially selfish for my own therapy and also to possibly help someone else or entertain someone else. I have a feeling some may be no more than a sentence in length on some days or no entry at all.
Some days I may just provide links or some days I may write a journal type thing. Ultimately it is an experiment and nothing more. The title is as blunt as I can get. I am a business owner who is about to lose their business unless miracles happen and money grows on tree's. Money does grow on tree's but not for the common person like myself who have business who feed their family, that is to small to succeed in this new order. I have taken a very low paying job as my former business remains on life support simply hanging on until bankruptcy or at the very best a sale.
If you have expectations for proper grammar and perfectly organized blogs then this will not be for you. The intent is to put something true down each day even if very mundane. I dont have time to pick through this with microscope to make sure everything is perfect. After all im a poor man on limited time in a new order. Having said that here is today's thoughts:
Today has been another oddly good day for me. I am off for 4 weeks from my new low paying job (although better than no job). It was good because I have been home again and my daughter is out of school. We have gotten to spend a lot of time together. The three of us as a family. We got my daughter a small dog from the shelter from Christmas one of the many having to be abandon these days. She is a very nice dog. The high today was about 52 degrees and sunny. Perfect for me. I cooked some breakfast and took my time this morning as I had nothing much to do. We have our business closed this week between the holidays seeing as how it will cost more to be open than to be closed due to lack of sales. The excitement on my daughters face for her new dog is priceless. We had a day totally open to do what we wanted. So we took her new dog to the park and then to another park. We ate at a very cheap mexican place called Taco Casa. We took our time. The sun feels great on your skin this time of year. It provides the warmth against the cold breeze. Unlike the summer heat it is a welcome source of heat. We spent a total of about 5 hours out and about and spent very little money.
I got home and she rested with her mom and I did something long overdue and went to see my mom at the nursing home about 16 miles away. She has early alzheimer's disease. She has been in a nursing home for close to 3 years now. I wish I could go so her more. Its tough sometimes. Some days I just dont have the gas to get up there and back. I have noticed not driving to and from work has saved me a decent amount of money. I was supposed to get temporary unemployment for my new job being off for 4 weeks due to lack of work however since I owned my own business and it was based off wages from a year ago I got nothing unlike the rest of the people I work with.
Anyway this is blog #1 I hope there is a #2
